Firstly, check the ventilation system inside the kiln. The normal operation of the ventilation system directly affects the stability of the temperature inside the kiln. If there is a malfunction in the ventilation system, such as uneven distribution of air volume or excessive local wind speed, it may cause heat concentration and form localized high or low temperature areas. Therefore, maintenance personnel should check whether the ventilation ducts are unobstructed, whether the fan is running normally, and whether the air volume adjustment device is sensitive and effective.
Pay attention to whether there are any problems with the kiln structure. Unreasonable internal structural design of the kiln body or poor insulation effect of refractory materials may lead to uneven heat distribution, which in turn can cause temperature fluctuations. Checking for cracks in the kiln wall and detachment of refractory materials are essential steps.
The supply system of fuel and materials should also be included in the scope of inspection. If the fuel distribution is uneven or the material flow is not smooth, it may lead to insufficient combustion or ineffective heat dispersion in certain areas, thereby affecting the stability of the temperature inside the kiln.
In terms of electrical systems, although its direct impact may not be as significant as ventilation and kiln structure, any electrical failure may indirectly affect the control of temperature inside the kiln. Therefore, checking whether the electrical circuits are intact, whether the wiring is secure, and whether the temperature sensors and control devices are accurate and reliable are also important components of maintenance work.
