In the production process of mechanized lime kilns, the ash unloading device is a key equipment to ensure production continuity and stability, and its working principle involves the coordinated cooperation of mechanical transmission and material conveying.

Common ash discharge devices include disc ash unloaders, star shaped ash discharge valves, etc. Taking the disc ash unloader as an example, its core structure consists of a disc ash collector and a transmission system. The transmission system is generally composed of an electric motor, a crankshaft, and a rod. The crankshaft is driven to rotate by the electric motor, which in turn drives the rod to move, thereby enabling the disc ash collector to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise.

When the lime kiln completes calcination and enters the ash unloading process, the cooled lime ash falls onto the disc of the disc ash unloader. As the disc rotates, the ash is evenly conveyed into the fixed funnel. During this process, the four control units of the disc type ash unloader transmission system can operate independently to achieve precise adjustment of ash conveying volume.

The star shaped ash discharge valve utilizes a rotating impeller structure, which is driven by a motor to gradually push the ash from the kiln into the conveying pipeline. This design can effectively lock in wind pressure, prevent air leakage inside the kiln, and maintain a stable calcination environment inside the kiln.

The entire ash unloading process is carried out in a closed state, which not only avoids dust pollution but also ensures the production efficiency and lime quality of the lime kiln. Through the collaborative work of these ash unloading devices, the mechanized lime kiln has achieved efficient and environmentally friendly continuous production.
