Precautions for using veneer coating machine

The veneer gluing machine is a key equipment for achieving uniform gluing of veneers in wood processing. Standardized operation not only ensures the quality of gluing, but also extends the service life of the equipment and avoids safety risks. The core precautions should cover the entire process of startup, operation, and shutdown.

Precautions for using veneer coating machine

Before starting up, it is essential to check the appearance of the equipment to ensure that the frame and glue roller are not deformed or loose; Check the amount of glue inside the glue box to ensure that the liquid level is between the "lowest" and "highest" marks, and that the glue is free of lumps or impurities (if any, it needs to be filtered); Check the transmission system, such as motors, chains, bearings, and other components, to ensure sufficient lubricating oil and no jamming; At the same time, confirm that the emergency stop button, protective barrier, and other safety devices are intact before powering on and starting.

Standardized operation during operation: Adjust the spacing between the glue rollers according to the thickness of the veneer (usually 1-5mm) and the required amount of glue (such as 30-150g/㎡) to avoid damaging the veneer due to too small spacing or uneven glue application due to too large spacing; When feeding, the single board should be kept flat to avoid skewing and jamming. If jamming occurs, immediately press the emergency stop button, clean up after turning off the power, and manual pulling is prohibited when turning on the machine; Real time observation of the glue liquid status during operation. If the glue liquid thickens, it is necessary to replenish the diluent in a timely manner to prevent dry rotation and wear of the glue roller.

Maintenance needs to be in place after shutdown: first turn off the power after shutdown, wait for the glue roller to completely stop rotating, then clean the remaining glue in the glue box, wipe the glue roller and glue pipeline with a special solvent to prevent the glue from solidifying and blocking; Regularly (such as weekly) inspect the wear of transmission components, replace aging sealing rings, and replenish lubricating oil; When idle for a long time, it is necessary to cover the equipment with a dust cover to prevent it from getting damp and rusting. At the same time, keep a good record of the equipment's operation to facilitate subsequent troubleshooting and maintenance.

In addition, operators are required to wear protective gloves and goggles, and are prohibited from crossing protective barriers or touching rotating parts during equipment operation to ensure personal and equipment safety.
