Maintenance precautions for hardwood veneer rotary cutting machine
As the core equipment of wood processing, the maintenance of hardwood veneer rotary cutting machine is directly related to production efficiency and veneer quality. The following are key precautions for maintenance and upkeep:
Daily cleaning is essential: After each use, it is necessary to promptly clean the machine surface of wood chips, dust, and oil stains to prevent them from entering the interior of the equipment and affecting operation. Special attention should be paid to the blades, pressure gauges, and transmission components to avoid the accumulation of impurities that can exacerbate wear.
Lubrication and maintenance should be scheduled regularly: lubricating oil should be added to the transmission chain, bearings, gears, and other parts of the equipment to reduce friction and wear. For example, every 8 hours of work, key parts such as the clamping shaft and feed screw need to be lubricated to ensure smooth operation of the equipment.
Blade inspection and replacement: Hardwood rotary cutting requires high sharpness of the blades, and regular inspections of blade wear are necessary. If the blade becomes dull or has a gap, it should be replaced or ground in a timely manner to ensure the quality of the veneer cutting.
Electrical system maintenance: Regularly check whether the electrical circuits are aging or loose, ensure good equipment grounding, and prevent leakage accidents. At the same time, it is important to avoid using equipment in humid environments to prevent damage to electrical components.
Long term shutdown protection: If the equipment is not used for a long time, it needs to be thoroughly cleaned and coated with anti rust oil. Remove and store easily corroded parts such as blades and pressure gauges properly to prevent rusting from affecting use.
