Method for adjusting the thickness of veneer cut by wood rotary veneer machine
As an important equipment, the rotary leather machine is widely used in the production of veneer rotary cutting. In order to ensure that the thickness of the produced veneer is uniform and meets the requirements, it is crucial to master the adjustment method of the veneer thickness of the rotary cutting machine. The following are detailed steps and precautions for adjusting the thickness of veneer cut by wood rotary veneer machine.
1、 Preparation stage
Before adjusting the rotary leather machine, it is necessary to ensure that the equipment is in normal working condition. At the same time, operators should be familiar with the operation panel and the functions of each button and switch of the rotary leather machine, so as to be able to operate accurately and quickly during the adjustment process.
2、 Adjust the thickness of rotary cutting
Use a triangular ruler to lean against the upper and inner sides of the double flower rollers of the leather spinning machine, and use a ruler to support the top of the single flower roller. Observe the value at the junction of the triangle ruler and the straightedge, and select the appropriate value based on the required thickness of the veneer for rotary cutting. Normally, if the thickness of a single board is less than 1mm, the value should be increased accordingly; If the thickness is greater than 2mm, the value should be reduced accordingly.
Adjusting the pressure of the rotary cutting machine is the key to controlling the thickness of the veneer. If pressure needs to be increased, gaskets can be added to the single box and the shoulder of the knife table on both sides; If pressure needs to be reduced, reduce the gasket accordingly.
3、 Measurement and adjustment
During the rotary cutting process, measurements should be taken after the sheet metal is rotary cut, before and after drying, and after gluing. Due to the compression of wood during rotary cutting, the measured values before rotary cutting will be slightly larger than those after rotary cutting. At the same time, the thickness of the dried sheet will decrease, while expansion may occur after gluing. Therefore, these factors need to be taken into account when rotary cutting, and appropriate machining allowance should be reserved.
4、 Precautions
When adjusting the rotary leather machine, it is necessary to follow the equipment's operating manual and safety regulations to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
During the adjustment process, close attention should be paid to the operating status of the equipment to ensure that all parameter settings are reasonable and to avoid the occurrence of abnormal situations.
Regularly maintain and upkeep the rotary leather machine to ensure its long-term stable operation and processing quality.
By following the above steps and precautions, operators can accurately adjust the rotary cutting thickness of the wood veneer machine to ensure the production of high-quality veneer products.
