What type of lime kiln technology is mature and stable
Lime vertical kiln, as a typical equipment that integrates traditional and modern technologies, occupies an important position in metallurgy, chemical industry, building materials and other fields due to its mature process and stable operation. Currently, mature lime vertical kilns mainly exhibit the following characteristics:
1. Structural optimization and efficient calcination
Modern lime vertical kilns generally adopt cylindrical or vase shaped structures, and achieve temperature uniformity in the calcination zone by optimizing the airflow distribution and material falling trajectory inside the kiln. For example, in a gas fired vertical kiln, the dual row burner is arranged in a staggered manner, combined with negative pressure operation technology on the kiln roof, to control the temperature fluctuation inside the kiln within ± 10 ℃, and the calcination efficiency is increased by 20% compared to traditional kiln types. The QBD series vertical kiln developed by Luoyang Qianbaibai Kiln adopts a circular arc angle rectangular kiln body design, combined with two rows of opposed spray nozzles on the upper and lower sides, to control the temperature difference inside the kiln within 5 ℃, and stabilize the lime activity above 350mL.
2. Energy conservation, consumption reduction, and environmental upgrading
Waste heat recovery and dual preheating technology have become standard equipment. A certain environmentally friendly vertical kiln uses the waste heat from the flue gas at the top of the kiln through a heat exchanger to preheat the gas and combustion air, raising the temperature of the combustion air to 200 ℃ and the gas temperature to 160 ℃, reducing the heat consumption to below 1000Kcal/kg. At the same time, the enclosed design combined with exhaust gas treatment systems such as dust collectors and absorption towers reduces dust and sulfur dioxide emissions by 80%, meeting the national ultra-low emission standards.
3. Automation control and quality assurance
The fully automated mechanized lime vertical kiln achieves full process automation of feeding, material distribution, calcination, and discharge through a PLC system. Sensors monitor the temperature, pressure, and gas concentration inside the kiln in real-time, and automatically adjust the fuel supply and air volume ratio. A certain enterprise's production line adopts intelligent fabric technology to control the fluctuation of raw material particle size within ± 5mm, combined with a precise unloading system, to reduce the finished lime roasting rate to below 10% and stabilize the CaO content at over 90%.
