Automated edge cutting machine is a key equipment for improving efficiency and yield in plywood production, but its high-speed and high-precision characteristics require strict operation standards and maintenance management. 1、 Pre operation safety check
Equipment status inspection: Before starting up daily, confirm that the cutting blade is securely installed without cracks or gaps, and that safety devices such as shields and guardrails are fully closed; Check that there are no leaks in the pneumatic/hydraulic system pipelines, and that the air pressure value (0.6-0.8MPa) and hydraulic oil level meet the standard.
Pre treatment of board: Ensure that the board to be cut is free of warping, metal inserts, or hard impurities, to avoid cutting that may cause saw blade cracking or splashing injuries.
2、 Standardized operating procedures
Parameter matching calibration: dynamically adjust the saw blade speed (3000-6000rpm) and feed speed (15-40m/min) based on the thickness of the board (3-40mm) and the material (hardwood/cork), and strictly prohibit overloading operation.
Human machine collaboration standard: Keep both hands away from the saw blade during feeding, and do not push the board manually; It is strictly prohibited to touch moving parts or forcibly stop the equipment during operation. If there is abnormal vibration/response, immediately press the emergency stop button.
3、 Key points of maintenance and upkeep
Regular cleaning and dust removal: Clean the accumulated dust inside the equipment daily, with a focus on cleaning the sawdust around the saw blade to prevent deformation caused by overheating; Check the smoothness of the vacuum pipe every week to avoid debris accumulation and fire hazards.
Key component maintenance: Check the wear of the saw blade monthly and replace or grind it in a timely manner; Check the lubrication status of bearings and guide rails every quarter, replenish special lubricating grease to prevent jamming or accuracy deviation.
4、 Shutdown Management Standards
After the homework is completed, turn off the main power and clean up the site. It is forbidden to leave boards or tools inside the equipment;
When not in use for a long time, it is necessary to apply anti rust oil to the saw blade, cover the equipment with a protective cover, and store it in a dry and ventilated area.
The safe and efficient operation of automated edge cutting machines requires "preventive maintenance" as the core.
