Choosing a suitable grinding machine for calcium hydroxide products requires comprehensive consideration of material characteristics, process requirements, and equipment performance. The following are the key selection points.
1、 Clarify product granularity and production capacity requirements
Firstly, it is necessary to determine the target fineness (such as 150 mesh, 325 mesh, etc.) and hourly yield. Calcium hydroxide has low hardness but is prone to deliquescence, and its fineness requirements directly affect the selection of grinding machines. For coarse powder (80-200 mesh), Raymond mill is optional. For high fine powder (200-400 mesh), vertical mill or improved ring roller mill is recommended. For ultrafine powder (above 400 mesh), a vertical mill or ball mill with a grading system is required.
2、 Performance evaluation of core equipment
