What are the common faults of cardless rotary cutting machines
The cardless rotary cutting machine is widely used in plywood production, but the following faults are prone to occur during operation:
1. Uneven thickness of sheet metal
It may be caused by issues such as high or low blade height, inconsistency between blade gap and feed hanging wheel, and wood's internal and external surfaces. You can refer to the knife adjustment chart to adjust the knife height and ensure that the knife gap matches the hanging wheel, while replacing the wood with uniform density.
2. Uneven sheet metal
Uneven blade, excessive drum jumping, excessive pressure, or wood on both sides may all cause this problem. Need to sharpen the knife again, check if the drum bearings are damaged, and adjust the pressure of the single and double rollers to avoid excessive compression of the wood.
3. Uneven periodic changes in sheet metal
High or low blade position, and wear of single and double roller bearings are common causes. Adjust the blade position to the appropriate height, check the bearing clearance, and replace the bearing with a new one if necessary.
4. Inconsistent thickness of remaining wooden shafts at both ends
Inconsistent height or gap between the two ends of the blade, damage to the single roller bearing, and loose screws can all cause this phenomenon. Adjust the height and gap of the blade at both ends, tighten the screws of each part, and check the condition of the bearings.
5. Abnormal feed of rotary cutting machine
Virtual connection of the feed circuit, slipping of the electromagnetic clutch plate, or incorrect input of motor parameters may cause automatic feed to stop and start. Need to repair the circuit, clean the clutch plate, and ensure that the motor parameters are input correctly.
