There are also multiple options for the number of layers in the hot press machine. Multi layer hot press machines are more common, with layers ranging from 6 to 20. The 6-layer hot press machine is relatively compact and suitable for small plywood production enterprises. It can simultaneously heat press 5 sheets of plywood at a time, with a small footprint and low equipment investment cost. A hot press machine with a pressure of 100 tons is suitable for pressing some thinner plywood, such as boards with a thickness of 3mm to 5mm. For the production of plywood with a thickness of 18mm-25mm, a hot press machine with a pressure of over 300 tons is required to ensure that the internal bonding of the board is firm and meets quality standards.
