Customized Lime Kiln for Central Asia: Resist Low Temperature for Stable Winter Operation
In response to the climate characteristics of long winter low temperature cycles and large temperature differences between day and night in Central Asia, Jinyong Kiln has launched a customized low-temperature resistant lime kiln solution, which optimizes the structural design, temperature control system, and insulation system in all dimensions to ensure continuous and stable production under extreme cold conditions.
The lowest temperature in winter in many parts of Central Asia can reach minus 20-30 degrees Celsius. Ordinary kilns are prone to problems such as rapid heat loss from the kiln body, uneven calcination temperature, and equipment component freezing and blockage, which directly affect the quality and production continuity of lime. This customized solution adopts a thickened multi-layer composite insulation structure, using high alumina refractory bricks combined with ceramic fiber insulation layer, greatly reducing the surface heat loss of the kiln body. Even if the external temperature drops sharply, the calcination conditions inside the kiln can be maintained stably.
The solution is equipped with a low-temperature resistant automatic temperature control system, which can automatically adjust the air supply, fuel ratio, and calcination rhythm according to the external environmental temperature, avoiding problems such as insufficient fuel combustion and increased over burning rate caused by low temperature. At the same time, anti freezing and heat tracing designs are made for pipelines and cooling systems to prevent equipment freezing and shutdown in winter.
At present, this low-temperature resistant lime kiln solution has been validated and implemented in Central Asian projects such as Kazakhstan. It can still stably produce high activity lime during full load operation in winter without the need for additional shutdown and maintenance, solving the continuous production problem for local lime production enterprises in extremely cold weather.
