Land is a significant cost in the construction of lime plants, and lime production enterprises face the challenge of rising land costs. The rotary kiln lime kiln occupies a large area and has a low land utilization rate, which has become a bottleneck restricting the development of the industry. The lime shaft kiln, with its advantages of vertical layout and compact design, has become the preferred solution for enterprises to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
The lime shaft kiln adopts a cylindrical vertical structure, with materials flowing from top to bottom. The combustion and calcination processes are completed in a vertical space without the need for horizontal extension. Its enclosed structure reduces dust overflow, combined with a waste heat recovery system, which not only reduces environmental investment but also improves energy utilization efficiency, forming a virtuous cycle of "small footprint, low pollution, and low energy consumption".
