How to achieve the goal of reducing carbon dioxide emissions in environmentally friendly lime kilns
The reduction of carbon dioxide emissions from environmentally friendly lime kilns is key to the sustainable development of the industry. Through technological innovation and process optimization, carbon emission intensity can be significantly reduced.
In terms of optimizing the kiln structure, a curved vase shaped kiln body is adopted instead of the traditional straight cylindrical design, which enables the dynamic rolling and lowering of the furnace material and improves the calcination efficiency. At the same time, strengthen the sealing and insulation performance of the kiln roof, reduce heat loss, and decrease fuel consumption. For example, the top temperature of energy-saving lime kilns can be controlled at 100-200 ℃, which is more than 50% lower than traditional kilns and directly reduces carbon dioxide emissions.
In the upgrade of the combustion system, oxygen rich calcination technology is introduced to promote full combustion of fuel by increasing the oxygen concentration in the combustion air. Practice has shown that oxygen rich calcination can reduce the average carbon dioxide emission intensity of one ton of lime products by 35 kilograms, while improving the quality of lime. In addition, an intelligent control system is used to adjust combustion parameters in real time to ensure efficient and stable combustion.
In terms of waste heat recovery and utilization, waste heat recovery devices are installed to use flue gas waste heat for preheating raw materials or air, achieving energy cascade utilization. For example, a certain lime kiln uses waste heat recovery technology to convert flue gas waste heat into thermal energy, reducing energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.
